Article Processing Charges (APC)

Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences is an open-access journal and self-financial (the journal’s revenue source is the publishing fee only). The reasons for the journal's charges are related to the management cost which includes its website hosting, the use of the latest technological programs to improve the journal, and the services provided by several workers and technicians involved in the journal, these include: 

1. Receiving and auditing stage: receiving, auditing, and verifying the validity of the research for publication in terms of linguistic and scientific content.

2. Sending stage: The journal editors send the research paper to the scientific reviewer.

3. Audit stage: Audit the research paper after the completion of the evaluation process.

4. The linguistic expert is responsible for correcting grammatical errors and reviewing the research from a linguistic perspective.

5.The technician is responsible for arranging the research before the final publication process.

6. The technician is responsible for verifying the research through plagiarism detection. 

Note: The publication charge for the research paper is 130,000 ID = 100 USD

Waiver Policy for International Submissions

At Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences, we understand that some institutions may have limited funding for their research activities. Thus, we have instituted a generous waiver system that may ease the payment of the manuscript handling fee when their researchers choose to publish their manuscripts in our journal. Our primary goal as stated in our mission is to accelerate the dissemination of knowledge through the publication of high-quality research articles. We are continually pursuing this goal, without putting an undue financial burden on researchers or their institutions. Hence, we have instituted the following waiver policy:

Authors from Low-Income Countries: May be granted up to 100% waiver.

Authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries: May be granted up to a 75% waiver.

To request a waiver, kindly send an application to our contact email. The waiver application should contain the manuscript number and state the reason for requesting a waiver.

Exemption Policy:

One of the most fundamental objectives of Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences is to reduce the burden on the researcher with rapid publication and to produce sober scientific research. Therefore, Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences had to reduce the charges for some categories as follows:

-       The researcher can be granted an exemption if they publish five accepted research papers in the journal, in which case the sixth research paper will be free of charge. 

-       Researchers from foreign and Arab countries are exempted from publication charges.
