 Aims and Scope of Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences (AJVS)

Aims:

Al-Anbar Journal of Veterinary Sciences is a globally accessible, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing the latest and novel research articles, case reports, and reviews in the veterinary and animal sciences field. The journal aims to contribute to disseminating high-quality scientific papers and knowledge related to the causes, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases in farm and wild animals, birds, and aquatic animals.

Scope:

The journal publishes original papers concerning advancements in various fields of veterinary medicine and animal science, including but not limited to:

ü  Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Zoonotic Diseases, and Epidemiology: Studies on the diagnosis and treatment of internal and infectious diseases, focusing on zoonotic diseases and the analysis of their spread.

ü  Nutrition, Food Safety, Biotechnology, Genetic Improvement, Animal Management, Behavior, and Breeding: Research on optimal animal nutrition, food safety techniques, the use of biotechnology for genetic improvement, and the management, behavior, and breeding of animals.

ü  Veterinary Radiology, Endoscopy, Sonography, and Experimental Surgery: Techniques in medical imaging and experimental surgery in veterinary medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

ü  Theriogenology and Veterinary Obstetrics: Advanced research in veterinary reproductive medicine and the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive issues.

ü  Microbiology, Virology, Immunology, and Parasitology: Studies on microorganisms, viruses, immune responses, and parasites and their impact on animal health.

ü  Histology, Anatomy, and Pathology: Research on the tissue structure, anatomical features, and diseases affecting animals.

ü  Physiology, Hematology, and Applied Biochemistry: Studies on animal physiological functions, blood analysis, and biochemistry for disease diagnosis.

ü  Pharmacology and Toxicology: Research on the effects of drugs and toxic substances on animal health.

ü  Avian, Poultry, and Wild Bird Diseases: Studies on diseases affecting wild birds and poultry, and methods of prevention and treatment.

ü  Fish and Aquatic Diseases: Research on diseases affecting fish and aquatic organisms, including methods of diagnosis and treatment.

The journal aims to enhance scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers worldwide, striving for excellence in veterinary scientific research.
